Ca 'Ragionati: The Jewel of Venice

If you prefer a bling, you don't need to look any further! - an absolutely fabulous apartment in the luxury designer district of San Moisè.

Glamorous, opulent and completely daring, this fully air-conditioned establishment will amaze and delight!
A daring juxtaposition of fascinating original features and avant-garde design, the Ca 'Ragionati, 9 people, spans 3 floors of a 17th-century building a stone's throw from Mark's Square and is entered through its own private entrance into what was once the property's cavana (boat shelter) where the partial remains of old boats were discovered during the restoration and donated to the "Musei Civici" (Civic Museums).
Today, its private corridor could not be more sumptuous - a place where demanding customers are protected from the hubbub of the outside world and are enveloped in a silence almost surrounded by astonishing ceilings and glass walls, serigraphy and effect sheet. "serigrafia".
The Bisanzio chandeliers sparkle gently to allow you to reach the main accommodation located on the 2nd floor by taking the impressive stone staircase (under the gaze of an Istrian relief sculpture of the winged Saint-Pierre lion. Mark also discovered at during the recent restoration), or by taking glass and gold leaf, mirror lift.
Thought to have been connected in a distant time to the neighboring palace and belonging to a family which, a long time ago, used it as a meeting place for intellectual debates, the apartment has a beautiful formal "salone" in the great Venetian style colorful paintings and stucco, Persian carpets on parquet floors, magnificent painted beams discovered and restored to their former glory by restaurateurs working on the Doge's Palace ... while tall double windows dressed in devoured Burgundy velvet open onto a balcony overlooking the filled canal gondola and the grandiose Baroque facade of the Church of San Moisè.
Admire the golden life of Venetian glitter by relaxing in the living room surrounded by a very special potpourri of furniture collected during the owners' travels and cleverly arranged against Venetian treats in the Venetian "marmorino" color inlaid with windows with balustrades overlooking the scene beyond.

The well-equipped kitchen / dining room is no less breathtaking with its glass and gold leaf furniture topped with black Arabic stones spoiled by an original terrazzo floor and exposed wooden beams, next to which is a lovely furnished terrace overlooking a narrow waterway below (and formed of what would have been a bridge or passageway leading from Ca 'Ragionati to the neighboring palace - note the charming brick Gothic window on one side).
The apartment's 4 main bedrooms are elegantly appointed with fine fabrics and furnishings, while the bathrooms are elegant, immaculate and fitted with modern amenities. They understand -

  • a master boudoir / a wonderfully romantic suite overlooking the canal, with elaborate pink, green and ocher stucco, a double bed arranged in a traditional alcove, a small half-hidden bathroom and wardrobe, as well as '' a seating area

  • 2 double bedrooms on the side and in the center of the apartment, both with double beds which can be divided into twin beds (please tell us your preferences when booking), one with a private bathroom with shower

  • a second bathroom with bath and shower

  • a fourth bedroom at the back with a double bed and a bathroom with shower…

… And on the first floor (accessible by a staircase from the ground floor) - a service room simply furnished with a single bed and a private bathroom with shower.

What we think:

Boldly designed and furnished without fear - an ultra-central apartment that exudes confidence and freshness.
