Since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla Parker-Bowles has become queen consort, a wish that the late sovereign had made before her death. On Twitter, a journalist from the British Times announced that their editorial staff no longer had the right to call Camilla Parker-Bowles queen consort. Explanations.
Last February, in a message addressed to the nation at the dawn of her 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth II made a momentous announcement, expressing her " sincere wish " that Camilla Parker-Bowles, the wife of her son Charles , to be designated as queen consort once he acceded to the throne. With these words, Queen Elizabeth II already seemed to prepare the page that would open after her death , and also allowed Camilla Parker-Bowles to finally establish her legitimacy in the face of the British people who did not always give her gifts . On September 8, Elizabeth II finally breathed her last at the age of 96, leaving her place on the throne to her eldest son, who became King Charles III.
As planned by the sovereign, Camilla Parker-Bowles has therefore become queen consort , and therefore accompanies her husband in his duties, she who paid a very nice tribute to her mother-in-law after her disappearance .
Camilla Parker Bowles, queen a point that's all
While journalists around the world refer to her by her new title, journalists at the British Times have received a clear instruction from their management . From now on, they will simply have to write “ the queen ” by evoking Camilla Parker-Bowles. “ Some will be delighted to know that reporters at The Times have been ordered not to write Queen Consort again. While the term was used for clarity during the period of mourning, it has now expired. Queen Camilla will now be referred to as , or, if there is no risk of confusion, she will be called the Queen ,” one wrote on his Twitter page.
A new era has therefore definitely started within the Crown , while Camilla Parker-Bowles has already broken with a tradition of Elizabeth II .

Why would Prince Charles cheat on Princess Diana with Camilla Parker Bowles, while Diana was much more attractive than Camilla?
It is now fairly well documented that the late Diana, Princess of Wales had multiple affairs during their marriage after the birth of Prince Harry. So is would be just as logical to as why did Diana, Princess of Wales cheat on Prince Charles if she wanted to have her marriage work? Charles has admitte…

If Charles had treated Diana half as good as he does Camilla, do you think things would have turned out differently?
Why is it always about how Charles treated Diana? What about how Diana treated Charles? She was no angel. She was immature and mentally unbalanced.
Indeed, things could have turned out differently if Diana had been able to be a wife to Charles and a rock to the Prince of Wales. I don’t blame Charles for taking no nonsense. Camilla is everything Diana wasn’t.
Look at Diana’s behaviour after they split, having affairs after affairs. Running after married men, harassing them. Using men to get whatever she wanted. Using the paparazzi.
Now look at Charles, have you ever seen him with another woman than Camilla? Was he a womaniser? Does Camilla complain in the media about how Charles treats her? Does she complain about how the royal family treats her? Does she think everything is about her?
It takes two to tango.

Why didn't Prince Charles marry Camilla in the first place?
Prince Charles may be the king of England protocol consideration to side he is also a human being and so was Lady Diana whatever transpired between them is history.
there extensive at public documentation of their time together if you wish to you can consult that record and come up with your own answers if inquiring minds want to know.
however whatever the private details are will probably never be fully publicly disclosed nor should they be.
The only person who can accurately answer this question should be respected enough not to be gossiped about. some questions are impolite if not downright rude in my opinion.
I don’t know why people believe they have the wright to ask questions like this of public people when when hopes they would have the good sense not to
One would hope that they would have the discretion not to ask those questions of people if they’re intimate circle.
The new king chose to marry princess Diana. I hope his present marriage is a happy and successful one
if you’re going to refer to his wife you could at least use her proper title. and for the record it is now King Charles III of England and his wife Camilla queen consort.

How does one build a website from scratch?
Building a website can be fast, cheap, and easy if you know the best way to do it.
You might have heard stories of professionals doing it and think that creating a website is expensive and complicated?
It can be in some cases, but don't worry - there are ways that even a complete newcomer can create a marvelous site.
You only need to follow a few essential steps I'll talk about below.
In no time, you'll have a bright and shiny webpage made all by yourself.
Start with choosing a hosting plan and buying a domain.
Before building a website, you will need to choose a hosting provider and buy a plan.
When you purchase a hosting plan, a hosting company provides space in its data center for your website placement.
You will find a tremendous amount of different hosting companies, although if you want to choose the one that fits your needs the best.
You should take a look at a few criteria, such as choosing the right hosting plan
, reasonable uptime, 24/7 customer support, good speed, and enough disc space.
Along with a hosting plan, you'll need a purchase of a domain. The domain is the virtual address of your website, so it's crucial to choose a domain that represents your website the best.
To come up with the name, think of the best site names you know and admire for inspiration. You can also use a little help from this tutorial
on generating names.
Have in mind that there are around 354 million domain names already taken, so don't rush to cross out other less popular options.
Another thing, with specific hosting plans, you might get a free domain
Now that you already have hosting and domain figured out, you can start making the website. There are a few main ways to build a website:
Website Builder
The site builder option is the easiest as it works with a primary drag and drop function and is highly customizable. Most likely, your hosting company will provide the website builder as a complementary product, and it will be super easy to figure it out.
Content Management System (CMS)
A second and most popular option is building a website with a Content Management System. There are plenty of different CMSs like Joomla and Drupal, but none of them beat WordPress. Around 34% of the internet is powered by WordPress, and its definitely the most popular CMS out there. Building a website on WP is moderately difficult for someone without any experience, although it doesn't take too much time to master it. Here is a very nice and simple video tutorial
which explains step by step approach on creating a website with WP.
E-commerce platform
For an online shop website, you will need to use open-source e-commerce scripts. This includes platforms like PrestaShop, Magento, and WooCommerce. These platforms will help out a lot while managing an online store because they are specifically designed for that reason. The difficulty level of these programs is similar to the CMS, and it doesn't take too long to learn the ropes.
Making it from scratch
Another way of building your website is from scratch. This type of website building is mostly done by professional developers and usually used by major companies. For a person without any programming experience, it would be too complicated to create a professional-looking website. It takes a lot of time and skill to master using the programs alone. In case you are wondering for the most basic site, you'll need to know HTML, CSS and PHP, text editors, and some automated tools. Not only that, but you will also need to learn back-end programming languages like JavaScript or Python and write code. If you are curious, here is a good explanation
of all the steps you'll need to take.
Creating your website from scratch might sound very exciting, and many think that for a company, it's important to build their website that way.
Although, for small and medium-sized companies, it's best to use CMS, in order to save time, money, and additional resources.
Creating a website from scratch by a professional can cost thousands
and take months, so you need to evaluate your company's needs.
So you've built the frame, now you need to improve it
After all the technical parts comes the time to set it all up. As all the major things are done, it's time to polish the site to make it shine.
During this part, you can start filling it with pictures, written content, products, set up the security measures, and optimize it for the best performance.
Fill in the website with written content. Make sure to write in understandable, clear, and short sentences, learn who is your audience, and write to them. If you are creating a store or a professional site, avoid using slang and jargon. While writing make text scannable - people don't like reading long and monotonic looking texts.
Improve your site speed by optimizing it. Many think that website speed depends solely on the hosting company, although there is a lot you can change by merely optimizing it. Not only it will help you with a higher SEO rank, but also your visitors will feel much happier visiting a fast loading page and convert more. You can start by checking your website's speed on GTmetrix
.
Implement security - you don't want any trouble concerning your websites and your visitors' safety. To prevent that, there are some steps you can take, like implementing captcha, limiting login attempts, installing the security plugins, implementing CloudFare, and keeping things up to date. Also, don't forget to get an SSL/TLS certificate - it will make your visitors feel secure.
Link your site with Google analytics
- it will be much easier understanding your audience, getting data, and making decisions when GA gives you constant insights regarding traffic, target audience, and more.
Last but not least, make a strategic digital marketing plan and make your website visible out there. You have unlocked the power of the internet; now you need to use it to the full potential.
So here you have it, a comprehensive guide on building a website.
Good luck making your vision into reality, and don't forget that even if it's challenging at first, it can be an enjoyable and entertaining process after you know the in's and out's of website building!

Why is King Charles' wife not Queen but Queen Consort?
Why is King Charles' wife not Queen but Queen Consort?
The UK recognises four types of Queen:
Queen Regnant
The reigning monarch; a queen who rules in her own right. Queen Elizabeth II was Queen Regnant.
Queen Consort
The wife of the reigning monarch, e.g. Queen Camilla.
Queen Dowager
The widow of a former monarch. If Queen Camilla outlives King Charles then she will become a Queen Dowager.
Queen Mother
A Queen Dowager who is also the mother of the reigning monarch. For example the mother of Queen Elizabeth II (who was also called Elizabeth), after the death of her husband and during the reign of her daughter, was known as ‘Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother*’.
Queen Camilla is the wife of the reigning monarch; she is therefore by definition a Queen Consort and not a Queen Regnant. She is titled Queen Camilla and styled Her Majesty, but she does not get a regnal number.
Our new King and Queen sit on their thrones for the first time, still dressed in mourning.
*There is a persistent myth that the title Queen Mother was invented for Elizabeth II’s mother, but it is a myth–– the previous two simply preferred not to use the title.

Why are the British news channels calling Camilla the queen consort, Shouldn't it be just King Charles and Queen Camilla, are they adding the consort at the end to not hype her up and not annoy some people who still love Diana?
I thought they were calling her Queen Consort to make the distinction between Queen Elizabeth (Queen Regnant) and her.
They are just calling her by her full title, which is Queen Consort.
Right now, a lot of the time they are also calling the king “King Charles III”. With time, I expect that you will hear them called simply King Charles and Queen Camilla.
This is an important time of transition—after all, for 70 years a Queen Regnant has been on the throne. Trying to make clear someone's role in the new monarchy is a good thing!
It being something about Diana did not occur to me.

Why is Camilla Parker Bowles' last name still Parker-Bowles when she is married to Prince Charles?
She was born Camilla Rosemary Shand.
In July 1973, she married Andrew Parker Bowles (no hyphen), and she took his last name when they married.
In April 2005, she married Charles, Prince of Wales. Her name is now Camila, Duchess of Cornwall (technically, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall.
She ceased being Camilla Parker Bowles more than 17 years ago.
Update 9/8/22: Her husband’s name is now King Charles III, and her name is now Camilla, the Queen Consort.

Did Charles make Camilla a Duchess?
Doesn't work like that she has no titles. Megan and Catherine also don't have titles.
They use the husbands title. Technically they even lose their names. “The Princess William of Wales” is just that, no first name. Megan is “the Princess Henry of Sussex”. Perhaps not for long as the people of Sussex want it removed.
Diana after her divorce was created a Princess for life by the Queen, had she had more children they would not have got titles.
“the” is also part of the title. Anne is “the Princess Royal” given for life to the Monarchs oldest daughter. The next Monarch can't issue it again unless the holder has died. Assuming he/she has a daughter.
In order to stop Megan using a title Harry would have to lose his. Using a title your not entitled to use is fraud and a serious crime.

Why did Prince Charles not marry Camilla when they were young?
Originally Answered: Why did King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla not get married right away when they were young?
By the standards of the day Camilla was deemed to have “ had a past”. In other words she had had liaisons with Parker Bowles and was not a virgin.
It was strongly suggested to her family that she marry Parker Bowles to put her out of Charles reach which she did. He, PB, turned out to be a rampant womaniser and the marriage was not happy.
In the meantime the Monarchy needed continuity and Diana was chosen. She was in effect the breeding mare.
When the marriage between Diana and Charles broke down Charles turned to his real love.
HRH the Queen Consort Camilla has proven to be a great support to all the royals at this sad time
She realised she was disliked by many who worshipped Diana. She slowly worked quietly away in the background until the public accepted her. That's why she's now Queen Consort

Are Prince Harry and Meghan likely to accept Prince Charles's offer of Harry, Meghan, and the children staying with him for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations? Is it an olive branch?
This is easy to answer now. They did not stay with Charles, I doubt they actually met with him. They stayed at Frogmore to re establish residency (for Harry) and left the UK earlier than expected, once they heard all the kids would be attending the concert. There were no Sussex children on any manifest coming in, or out of, the UK during the Jubilee which speaks for itself.
It seems Harry is the one that needs to bring bouquets of Olive Branches next time, in lieu of Meghan who was booed, everywhere she went. Understandably.
Why did Prince Charles marry Princess Diana?
To have children! Charles and Camila chose Diana because she was young and inexperienced! She was in awe of Charles and had no idea he did not love her and his heart was with Camila.until their honeymoon when Diana found an engraved bracelet from Charles to Camila! Diana ended up having affairs herself as she felt alone. It is a very sad situation and I felt terrible for this very young woman,She was by herself, loved by the people but not by her husband!
Diana has been gone for 25 years! Charles and Camila have worked hard for the Queen , and waiting 50 yrs for the crown and working for it, Charles deserves the crown and needs Camila!
What is the reason Camilla has her own household?
All the senior Totals have their own ‘household’. In this case the word means personal staff. Am longer them is a dresser who who helps her select suitable clothing for public engagements , and most importantly a Secretary who deals with the diary of public engagements and liaises with the media and the households of the other senior engagements. She also has a personal assistant and a lady in waiting. They dealt with her correspondence , (not her private correspondence)

Who introduced Harry to Camilla Parker-Bowles?
I believe that a couple of Royal biographers, among other staff, have said that Prince Charles (now King Charles) did. The most prevalent story is that William really wanted to meet Camilla (Harry, too, but to a slightly lesser extent) and asked his father to help him set up a meeting. Charles gladly helped William fix a date with Camilla. William, together with the palace chef, planned a luncheon of Camilla's favorite foods (making sure none of his mothers favs were served). When Camilla arrived the princes were introduced to her by Charles who then promptly left her to sink or swim. She and the Princes chatted for a bit until lunch was ready. William tried to make it easy on Camilla. Camilla said she was terrified of the meeting, but William was very sweet.

When King Charles dies, if Camilla is still alive, will she become queen mother since she is not William and Harry’s mother?
No, she will not. A queen mother is a former queen who is the mother of the reigning monarch. Camilla doesn’t meet that definition.
If Camilla survives Charles III, she will become a queen dowager.
A current example of a queen dowager who is not a queen mother is Queen Noor of Jordan. Noor Al-Hussein is the widow of the previous king of Jordan, and is the stepmother of the current king.
Because Queen Noor is the widow of King Hussein, she is a queen dowager.
Because Queen Noor is not the mother of King Abdullah II, she is not a queen mother.

Why is Camilla called the Queen Consort and not the Queen?
Because she is not the Queen Regnant. She is a queen only by virtue of having married the King. Queen Elizabeth II was a Queen Regnant. Her husband was not called a King Consort, however, because people tend to assume that anyone called a king is in charge.
Did Prince Charles really yell at Diana when she returned from NYC because Camilla was hurt?
I can see why many called Charles and his tag team buddy sadist. They did have to try to hurt Diana so severely. Lots of people have affairs but other than this - I’ve never heard of the husband and mistress attacking the wife as if to want her to eliminate herself. So sad and unnecessary. Imo

If King Charles dies before Camilla, she could no longer be Queen Consort, so what title does she hold then, since she is not even the mother of a royal?
If King Charles dies before Queen Consort Camilla, she will become the Dowager Queen as the Princess of Wales would assume the title of Queen Consort. This acknowledges the previous position of Camilla, and still recognizes her as a royal. There have been enough queen consorts who are not the mother of the next king, so the precedent is set.

Will the British people accept Camilla as Queen Consort?
Originally Answered: Will the British people accept Camilla as Queen?
For years I wasn’t happy at the thought of her being Queen but her behaviour since their marriage has changed my opinion.
Camilla was, IMO rightly, pilloried for her relationship with Charles while he was married to Diana.
OK, Diana had her first affair - with her bodyguard, Barry Mannakee - at least a year before Charles went back to Camilla. Yes, Charles and Camilla were friends but no, one of the bodyguards has said their affair didn’t start till after Diana had been unfaithful. So, in that respect, it is more understandable.
But Camilla was also cheating on her (admittedly unfaithful) husband, too - and very publicly and, as everyone knows, two wrongs don’t make a right!
However, they are married and there is no doubt that Charles is a much happier man since he had her by his side. She performs her duties well; she has behaved impeccably - and the charity works she has taken on have been carried out perfectly: she now has ninety patronages and has benefitted all of them.
The icing on the cake for me was the fact that the Queen, herself, declared that she wanted Camilla to be welcomed as Charles’ Queen Consort - so even she, who had been against Camilla for years, had come round to respect and admire her.
I believe many people will find it hard to accept Camilla as Queen but also many will welcome a happier monarch, a monarch who has, in the past, made many mistakes but who, in the end, has managed to grow in stature and, I’m sure, will be a good king.
He has also produced a brilliant heir in William and William has chosen his wife wisely; their children are all anyone could wish for.
Far from Camilla being the blot on the horizon, all eyes will be looking at Harry and what he does next.
Now the Queen has died, Harry’s position in the RF will almost certainly diminish, if not disappear. I would imagine Harry’s life, wife and children will receive greater scrutiny and if it is found that any part of it fails the tests, they will be cut out forever.
I have read that, if Meghan declared herself to be born in 1981 but if, as rumoured, her birth year was actually 1977, then that could prove problematic for the marriage - as she gave a false declaration. If either - or both - children are found to have suspect DNA, then they, too, will probably be examined further.

Do Prince William’s kids call Camilla Grandma or by her given name Camilla?
They call Camilla “Gaga” and they call Charles “Grandpa Wales”, I read this in an article a while back. They obviously never met Diana but the article mentioned they refer to her as “Granny Diana”. Also, they call William “pops” not dad.
The article I read said “Gaga” was what Camilla’s grandchildren called her and Prince William’s kids went with that too.
Camilla and Charles both seem good to each others grandchildren. Total between them, they have 10. Charles has 5 and Camilla has 5. They actually have 2 grandson’s named Louis, he has one and she has one.

Queen Elizabeth II has died. Charles is King. Is Camilla Queen?
Originally Answered: Queen Elizabeth has died. Charles will be King. Will Camilla be Queen?
Strictly speaking, no.
Your use of the future tense is incorrect.
Legally, she is already Queen and has been from the moment her Husband became King… that’s to say, the moment Queen Elizabeth II died.
We will see soon enough whether she and the King would like us to use that as her title.

Why was Camilla not allowed to have a church wedding?
The Church of England only allows divorced people to be married in the Church if the former spouse is deceased. Camilla's ex husband was still living when she and Charles married. Is there a reason why Camilla is now "Her Majesty the Queen Consort" and not just "Her majesty the Queen"? Is there a difference?
The wife of a king is always a queen consort (with the exception of Mary II);
as the previous Queen was a queen regnant, I assume they feel they
need to make the distinction since otherwise people will get confused.
For most purposes she will probably still be Queen Camilla.

She’s always been quite attractive - but she has an unfortunate habit of sucking her chin in when she sees a camera. Some people do.

Now that HM King Charles III’s late first wife & mother to his children has been very effectively erased & largely forgotten by the people of the U.K. & Commonwealth, will HM Queen Camilla be known hereafter as mother to HRH William Prince of Wales?
By “erased and largely forgotten” do you mean that the Express finally printed an edition without her on the front page? Don't be ridiculous.
The question has the hyperbolic tone of a stroppy child. You know the answer to your question. You know that it's not possible for a step mother to replace a biological mother. You know Diana will be an ancestor to many, quite likely all, future monarchs.
She's been dead 25 years. She isn't going to be forgotten for a long time yet, however, some of us have got to the stage where we don't have to consider the feelings of a long-dead woman before every action. Move on.

Whether true or not, would still not make him a Royal so what difference would it make? If he thought that this was true, why not question this when he was a young adult? (Maybe he is related to or in cahoots with MM).

What do you think of the fact that Charles’ staff is “livid” and “shaken” as they’re given “redundancy notice” now that he’s King?
🏵Sharen - is thus King Charles’ Staff or, in reality, The Queen’s Staff? Whichever —— I think it is terrible timing - before the Great Queen is laid to rest - for The New King to send out redundancy notices! As a matter of fact - I am appalled that the New King woukd do such a thoughtless, inconsiderate trick
🏵Do you think these redundancy notices have really been sent out,! Or this is a Media Made up Scam to “sell papers”!! It has certainly stirred up enough bad publicity - & that makes piles of money for the Media Moguls!
🏵Looking ahead - the Staff knew there would be changes after The Queen’s death & after the new King took over - her staff would, obviously, no longer be needed. I would imagine some would be rehired for positions in the new regime, etc. BUT to send out redundancy notices now is awful!
🏵Word to the wise - violent reactions to unfounded gossip does not help the ones who are violently reacting one iota! “Never complain - never explain” - here backwards is best! 🌹

Does Prince Charles have a Morganatic marriage to Camilla in which he can become King but she would not be Queen, merely his consort?
Only if he can persuade Parliament to change the law.
Given he seems very fond of his wife, it’s not clear why he’d want to.
It’s worth noting that while several European countries have had Morganitic marriages in the past, the UK never has. So it wouldn’t even be a question of Parliament agreeing to do something that used to happen. It really would be a new way of handling things here.

Why is Camilla constantly referred to as “Queen Consort” and not “Queen”? I’ve never heard the term used about any past Queens, most of whom were indeed consorts.
Originally Answered: Why is Camilla constantly referred to as "Queen Consort" and not "Queen"? I've never heard the term used about any past Queen, most of whom were indeed consorts.
Because Elizabeth II reigned for so long as Queen Regnant, she was the only type of queen anyone under 70 years old would have known and they may not be familiar with the concept of a Queen Consort. Referring to Camilla as such helps people understand that she is a different type of queen from her late mother-in-law, and her role as the King’s wife is entirely different from that of Elizabeth despite them both being called the Queen. In time, as people get used to her being Charles’s consort and memories of Elizabeth’s reign fade, use of that term will be phased out and she will simply be known as the Queen.

If Charles had treated Diana half as good as he does Camilla, do you think things would have turned out differently?
No, that relationship was doomed from the outset. There was a 12 year age gap between them to start with, but where Charles was ‘older’ than his years, Diana was ‘younger’ than hers. It was simply never, ever going to work. Very sad, but these things happen.

Is it true that Harry refuses to attend his father's coronation if Camilla is crowned Queen Consort?
I’ve seen no evidence of this. If Harry wishes to mourn and take part in these ceremonies alongside his dad, brother, and other relatives, he should probably remember what he’s been taught about protocol and do as he’s asked at least while in the public eye out of respect for his late grannie and his dad. If he and Meghan are able to comport and not disrupt any services or ceremonies during these events, there had been word that Charles and William could see a way to utilize them as bicoastal royals.
Now that William has taken control of lands worth a billion dollars, perhaps he could buy out the Sussexes Netflix contract, removing the pressure to roll cameras in royal conversations.
What everyone says they want is peace. But many Britons want the monarchy abolished. And everyone in William and Harry’s generation except William has pursued their own careers and incomes. If their children can do that and the Windsor clan reduces the number of properties to maintain, they could be well on their way to doing essential functions only before George is grown up (meaning 30 and ready to take the crown-not 18).
Part time royalty. Sell off or donate properties that are going unused, reduce functions to those that are constitutionally necessary (given the time it would take to amend the constitution of the British commonwealth) and ceremonially important to the people.
Return stolen goods, relics and wealth to the people of their prior nations. Encourage as many remaining nations to follow Barbados in officially removing the monarch as head of state and dismantle other colonial trappings.

Why is Catherine, The Princess of Wales using Princess Diana’s former royal title, but Camilla, The Queen Consort didn’t?
Queen Camilla did not use the title out of respect to Diana, who was still known as Princess of Wales after her death. Catherine is in a different position, because even if Diana was still alive and unmarried, Catherine belongs to the next generation and would have become Princess of Wales when Prince William became heir to the throne.
In short, it would have been seen as tactless and inflammatory for Camilla to use the title, while it is simply the natural order of things that Diana’s daughter-in-law would take her former title. If Diana was still alive, we may have had the interesting situation of two women using the title Princess of Wales, but I’m sure we would not have got the two women mixed up.

Why are the British news channels calling Camilla the queen consort, Shouldn't it be just King Charles and Queen Camilla, are they adding the consort at the end to not hype her up and not annoy some people who still love Diana?
Camilla is the wife of the King and is therefore Queen Consort.
This means that she is not the queen, but the wife of the King.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Diana, late Princess of Wales. Had things been different, she might have been Queen Consort to King Charles III.
Prince Albert was Prince consort to Queen Victoria and Prince Philip was consort to Queen Elizabeth II

Why is Camilla Parker Bowles' last name still Parker-Bowles when she is married to Prince Charles?
Why is Catherine, still Kate Middleton? Why is Meghan still Meghan Markle? Because the media needs to seperate them from the royals. The Surname of Elizabeth's children is Mountbatten-Windsor. Camilla upon marrying Charles became Duchess of Cornwall, today she is Queen Consort Camilla. She hasnt been Camilla Parker Bowels for a very long time.

How does Prince William feel about the Queen's decision to name Camilla as Queen?
When Charles becomes king Camilla will become Queen Consort. That is the wife of a king. There is a lot of past over the relationship Charles had with Camilla whilst still married to Diana but when Diana died in the car crash (Charles and Diana had divorced by then) Charles eventually married Camilla so legally she is Charles wife. The Queen dearly hopes the past will be put aside and Camilla will take her place as Queen Consort when the time comes for Charles to become king. The Queen has not named Camilla as Queen as there can only be one Queen, the Monarch, at a time.

When Camilla becomes Queen, can she stop William & Catherine from ascending to the throne when Charles passes?
What makes anyone think that a queen consort has any such power? The reigning King or Queen cannot say who will reign after him / her.
So please, all of you, stop insinuating that the current Duchess of Cornwall can put her children on the throne or can stop Prince William and his eldest living child from ascending to the throne, or can carry out any schemel with the Duchess of Sussex that gives the Duchess of Sussex any power or glory of being a Queen.
Prince Philip did not have that power. The Duchess of Cambridge won't have that power when Prince William becomes King and she becomes Queen Consort.
Stop persisting in placing Camilla in the “Wicked Stepmother” role. She has no rights in the succession. She and Charles have no rights in choosing a successor.
Read a biography of Queen Victoria. She did not want her eldest son Albert Edward to reign. She would not allow him to see government papers. She thought “Bertie” was stupid. He had terrible tantrums and rebelled against his tutors. (He was never an academic success. His father and mother pushed him to be an academic success because his elder sister Victoria was an academic success and boys are supposed to be better than girls.) He was not a success in the army either. Then Bertie shocked his parents, “disgraced” himself and dishonoured the Royal Family by taking a mistress (a common though well-known prostitute at that.) Then he was stupid enough to lose the way when he and his father took a walk in the rain to discuss his bad behaviour. The Prince Consort took cold, which led to pneumonia, which made his poor health critical (typhoid? acute ulcer? No one knows for sure why his health was bad.) The Prince Consort, Queen Victoria's “beloved angel”, died and until he nearly died of typhoid a decade later, she refused to love the monster who killed him.
Victoria allowed her son Leopold access to her government correspondence. Never “Bertie”, the son she knew would be King after her death.
George V wished his eldest son Edward VIII would never reign, and that if he did reign, that he would die and that his “Bertie” (George VI) would reign. Like Grandmama, he thought his eldest son would ruin the United Kingdom.
But Edward VII became King and Edward VIII became King. Why? Because that's the rules and Parliament upheld the rules. Even when George, when the King had a bit more power to appoint government ministers, became Prince Regent in 1811 by Act of Parliament and King George IV a decade or so later, Parliament played by “the rules” and did not pass him over for his daughter Princess Charlotte George got the Crown even though his regency had been a mess and Charlotte's husband Leopold of Saxe-Cobourg was better political material and could guide her and make her a suitable Queen Regnant.

Is Camilla the Queen of Canada now in October 2022?
No. She is not given the official title Queen of Canada. The Royal Style and Titles Act 1953 only gives Canada's monarch a Canadian title.
Out of respect, as King Charles's Queen consort, Canada will unofficially call Charles and Camilla King and Queen of Canada but Canada will not officially give Queen Camilla a title.

Why does Camilla have so many wrinkles?
Because she’s in her 70s. I’ve met Camilla and, while she has a few miles on the clock, she’s one of those unfortunate people in real life to whom the camera isn’t kind. She’s actually classically beautiful.
Also she smokes like a chimney and that doesn’t help!

What benefits do Camilla's children receive from being part of the British royal family?
They have the benefit of knowing their mother is happily married and financially settled for life; they know she gets excellent health care and she has a fulfilling and rewarding job.

Why were the tabloids always writing about Camilla having an "evil plot to seize the throne"? It seems like Camilla, unlike some others who "married in" to the royal family, never wanted fame or power.
Camilla only wanted to settle down when Prince Charles met her in the early 1970s, but Charles was told Camilla was not an appropriate match for him. What’s sad is the royals, including the Queen Mother, hailed from a different century. What prince could marry a woman who had a lover before marriage? Plenty actually, but Charles listened to his Uncle Dickie more than anyone. Except Lord Louis Mountbatten wanted Charles to marry his own granddaughter.
Everyone had their own best interest at heart, but who was truly concerned for Prince Charles? Even his mother had married a man for love, so why couldn’t he? I will always think that terribly unfair. To Charles. To Diana. And yes, to Camilla. Camilla would have married Charles, but he was told he was too young, not ready, etc. She wasn’t aristocratic enough. Then Charles was sent on a naval mission that took months.
In the meantime, Camilla began seeing an old boyfriend of hers, Andrew Parker-Bowles, and some believe Camilla’s father sent in a fake engagement announcement to force Andrew’s hand. Parker-Bowles did ask for Camilla’s hand in marriage, and she accepted. By the time Prince Charles came home, he wasn’t going to ask his one true love to break her engagement. She married and had two children.
Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer, a woman who looked so perfect for a prince. On parer, that is. A blue-blooded aristocrat, raised on the Sandringham Estate, a lady in her own right, a virgin, nineteen and pretty. What could possibly go wrong? We know the marriage was not a good one, most of the time, and sadly Diana’s life was tragically cut short at thirty-six.
Camilla really didn’t want all the trappings of a royal life, which is what makes her so perfect for the job! None of the spouses who actually craved the fame and wanted a title turned out to be suitable. Think of Prince Philip. He certainly didn’t want to be married to the Queen, except he loved Elizabeth. Catherine Middleton never wanted to be a royal; she just loved Prince William and wanted to be married to him. Not to his title. Camilla was like this, while Diana loved the title and popularity.
Camilla loves Charles. She would probably prefer that their days were spent in happy retirement, with their grandchildren visiting, puttering in the garden, traveling for fun and just being together. Camilla knows she is married to the next king, and she willingly attends engagements, takes tours, travels, greets, attends meetings and manages to enjoy herself. Because she is with the man she loves. He just happens to be a prince.

One day she will be titled Her Majesty Queen Camilla. Is she already more beloved by a majority of the public than Diana ever was?
As we are all aware, Camilla's journey as a Royal has been difficult.
She faced public scorn over being the ‘other woman’.
Prince Charles and Camilla met for the first time in 1970 at a polo match and started dating. It was love at first sight. They broke things off when Charles went off to sea. Camilla married Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973. Charles was heartbroken.
In 1981, Charles married Diana. Charles and Camilla maintained a very close friendship throughout the following years. Sadly, both realised they had married the wrong person. A year after Diana’s death in 1997, Charles and Camilla made their relationship public and eventually got married in 2005.
Despite the hostility towards her, she managed to carve out a role that suited her. Her support for Charles, and for the Royal Family has made her stronger, and she is solely responsible for bringing happiness to Charles. He has mellowed, and their popularity with the public has increased.
Camilla is definitely an asset, both to Charles and to the Monarchy. We would never see her dragging her husband off to America and appearing on TV with Oprah, trashing the Queen and accusing the Royal Family of being racist. We would never see Camilla disrespecting the Royal Family in the way Meghan Markle does – on a daily basis.
I’ve met Camilla several times. She is delightful, down-to-earth and liked by everyone who meets her. She enjoys a good joke, and not only the clean and wholesome ones! The Royals love her, and they consider her to be a steady pair of hands at the heart of the Firm.
On 5th February 2022, the Queen gave her seal of approval. She told us that Camilla will be Queen when Charles is on the throne. I believe we are lucky to have Camilla.

Why did the Royal Family not want Charles to marry Camilla?
When King Charles & his Queen consort Camilla 1st met in the early 70s they wanted to marry but were prevented from doing so by those who effectively ran the royal family and what they could or couldn't do then because they believed the future King should marry someone who was a virgin & Camilla wasn't one( nor was Charles but that didn't matter) so they prevented it, and he married Diana instead. If they'd allowed them to marry when they 1st wanted to none of whst happened later would have happened.

Why is Charles allowed to be king when Edward had to advocate the throne because he married a divorced woman, but Charles is rocking out with Camila?
“Abdicate” the throne. It’s all to do with what was or was not allowed by the Church of England, the state church of England. The monarch is Governor of the Church of England (It’s because of Henry VIII)
Edward VIII wanted to marry Wallis Simpson, a twice-divorced American, whose previous husband was still alive. The Church of England did not then allow marriage of divorced persons whose ex-spouse was still alive. Edward could not marry her and remain King because of his position as Governor of the Church of England..
When divorce became more accepted, the Church relaxed its rules. Charles was not the King when he and Camilla married, so he was not Governor of the Church of England. As he became King today, he is Governor of the C of E now, but that does not affect his marriage to Camilla (who is now the Queen Consort, btw)

When will people stop referring to Queen Camilla as "the Queen Consort" and begin to refer to her simply as "the Queen", which is how the three queens consort of the 20th century, Alexandra, Mary and Elizabeth were described?
Consort is because she was his mistress when he was a married man (to Diana Spencer). She has served her time in the Royal Wilderness where disgraced celebrities go to do penance, and is still by his side. The new King and Camilla clearly get on well together and we wish them a happy life…

Now that Charles is king, what will Camilla use as her official title? I vaguely recall hearing that there was some negotiation along these lines when they married, but being across the pond, I did not pay a lot of attention to it.
Originally, she was set to continue as the Duchess of Cornwall. However, about a year ago the queen made it known that she wanted Camilla to be known as the queen concert when Charles ascended the throne. Camilla never used the title Princess of Wales out of respect to Diana, but since Diana was never a queen

Is it fair that Camilla will wind up being Queen after all that happened in the past?
Camilla is Queen Consort by the wish of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The marriage between Charles and Diana was forced upon him. A woman he did not love.
On her part, Diana was a troubled young girl who grew into a very troubled young woman when her fairy tale did not come true.
Camilla has been a loyal and supportive wife to Charles for 17 years and his life-long love.
If the late Queen Elizabeth can understand this, who are you to question it?

We know that she doesn’t like Catherine. She had tried to set up William with one of her friends, but Catherine won out. Eugenie is known as a terrible snob and looks down her nose at Catherine as well as Camilla because they aren’t Born of the Blood Royal. Eugenie feels superior to Camilla and Catherine and thinks they don’t belong on the photo.
Of course, she failed to snag a Royal Prince herself and settled for a liquor salesman. Too bad- your snobbishness!!

Every queen consort since Queen Adelaide has had a new Queen's crown made for her coronation. Will Queen Camilla follow this tradition?
No, she has not accepted the title yet. She was overheard at the donut shoppe the other morning saying I didn’t go this far and wait all these years to be called a consort. I want to be a full fledged Queen and be called that. I will save the consort title for my friends. Give the title to Beatrice or Eugenie but I am above being a consort. What does that even mean anyway. Cripes, what a gyp.

Is Camilla Parker-Bowles a good person?
The majority of the public can see who she is. No matter how you put it, she is a home wrecker and she and Charles bare the blame of what became of princess D. Because of her and Charles, this is the end of the monarchy. Once queen Elizabeth passes, it will be the end for them all, they will just become another wealthy English family. And Camille will never be more than a mere selfish easy woman (for not calling her a profanity), who stepped over whoever was on her way to get what she wanted, Charles. A man who is weak and who got persuaded for the open skirts of an experienced woman in bed. He called it love but everyone knows what this was and who he is. A man who got so enraged that a woman he slept with chose someone else while he was away, he had to have her even after he himself got married. She knew exactly what would work on a spoiled selfish “prince” whom only cares about himself, himself and himself. They were made for each other, and they didn’t care how many people’s lives they ruined on their way to their goals. So no she is not a good person, neither is Charles. No matter how they try to make amends to fix their crooked history and act “royal” deep inside they are trash and will never be more than that. The only way I would think she can perhaps salvage some of her dignity would be to give up Charles and divorce him. But we all know that’s not going to happen, she has her eyes set on that crown. Her final goal.

Simon Dorante-Day, 53, believes he is the love child of Prince Charles and Camilla, claiming he was conceived in 1965 when the heir to the throne was 17 and Camilla was 18. Is Simon a fraud or just looking for attention?
He’s adopted, so not knowing the truth, invites the wildest conspiracy theories imaginably possible, and I find it sad that he places so much stake in what his deceased grandmother told him, as I bet she’d never think he’d ever take it this far, and probably thought he would feel good about this little white lie.
I think it’s all because his grandmother had some granules to her story that made the story seem plausible enough, and because he trusted his grandmother, and she’s telling him this story, he ran with it, again, probably innocent white lie on his grandmother’s part, but this was enough to set the blazes. She probably had not a lot of wealth or leave him much, and thought, she’d leave him with a warm fuzzy feeling of having blue blood that she thought he would not ever be able to find the real truth, or do much anything about, let alone go on an international buffoonery tour about it.
So, because of that, I don’t think he’s crazy, and even in a way, sort of normal for thinking there’s a cool unknown that he just hasn’t been able to definitively prove yet, since he’s adopted and this is what he’s told, and well, what is he supposed to believe? So if it’s questionable, why not run with the most fantastical version??
People also aren’t honest just because they’re dying, I mean, there’s been at least 3 people who supposedly confessed to being DB Cooper on their deathbed, and well, only one man jumped out of the plane, so obviously at least 2 or more of them aren’t DB Cooper, no matter what they told their relatives on their deathbed….
But all us on the outside, not clouded by emotions and our grandmother who we think wouldn’t lie to us, we don’t buy it for several reasons, the 2 obvious ones, firstly that Charles supposedly did not meet Camilla until 1969 as the earliest ever ‘alleged’ first meeting, but most claim it was actually not until 1970 at a polo match and 1969–1970 is 3–4 years after this man was born, and 4–5 after allegedly conceived, and there’s no evidence whatsoever of them ever being reported together before this; and second obvious thing, is there’s photos of Camilla from March 1966 and that’s just impossible to hide being 8 months pregnant, as that would be when she would supposedly be almost to full term.
Also, for me, the ‘resemblance thing’ is just the worst and so Elizabeth Warren sounding. Plus, I’m sorry, but my family has way more closer resembling looking people to some of the current Windsors. And yes, I am related to them, but I actually am related to them through like Edward III, so are like my 15th cousins, so if we can be that distantly related and have people in my family look so similar to some of the living royal family members, then just looking like them means nothing to me, so definitely would not be persuasive to me.
I hope he finds his real family, but it’s NOT the Windsors.
And if he gets them to do a DNA test, can he make sure he also asks if they’ll let them test the DNA of those two remains, they found in the Tower from 1600’s? I want to know if they’re Richard III’s nephews or not. I mean, if it’s not an inconvenience.

With the departure of the Suxesses and Prince Andrew, will there be more news of lower-profile royals like Princess Anne, Camilla and the Wessexes who haven't sought publicity during their many years of service to the British and Commonwealth people?
First, be respectful. Camilla is the Duchess of Cornwall, most commonly, but if you want to be REALLY pedantic, The Princess of Wales. Although she doesn't use that title.
Second, she and Princess Anne are not lower profile than Prince Andrew. They both work a lot harder than he ever did, with a lot less drama.

Why now at the age of 53 is Simon Durante claiming to be the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla or in other words why has he waited this long since he states he has known this from childhood?
Simon Durante is either a con man or mentally ill. Or both. Why now? Either he needs the money or his mental delusions have escalated. Or both.
Why does Camilla seem almost uncomfortable when she walks behind King Charles III?
Her mother in law died a week ago? Her husband has inherited a headache that will take away even MORE of the time he has for her? One set of her step children is causing her husband grief? Her new shoes hurt? She ate something bad and has nasty gas and no where to vent it?
Edited on 09/17/2022: I just saw a news article that says Camilla has a broken toe! SO I was sort of right. Her shoes DO hurt her because she has a broken toe. She broke her toe before Elizabeth died. It hasn't had time to heal yet AND she has to do all that standing and walking exacerbating the injury. BUT the rest of the reasons are equally valid. This is a sad, difficult time for her and her family.

If Charles had treated Diana half as good as he does Camilla, do you think things would have turned out differently?
It sometimes saddens me when I see Charles and Camilla together on various televised functions.
On the one hand, I’m touched by the obvious love and respect they have for each other, and on the other hand, I think of Diana, and how much she must have yearned for just a fraction of the affection Camilla gets.
It was always obvious that Diana felt more for her husband than he did for her. So, yes, of course, if he’d given her half as much, then Diana would probably have been a happier wife.
But, you can’t give someone what you don’t feel, and to be fair, Charles was effectively forced to marry Diana.
It pains me though. She was a beautiful and charming young woman with heart, and she deserved to have been wholly loved and appreciated by someone, but never got the chance. She wasted so many years, no doubt beating herself up, thinking she wasn’t good enough. I know the feeling. I wasted most of my life this way. Such a crying shame.
She was plenty good enough; she just married the wrong person.

It is a hangover from Diana.
When Charles married Camilla it was clearly stated that Camilla would never be Queen in the same way that she did not use the Princess of Wales title. Thus was repeated only two years ago.
But there has been a 25 year campaign by Charles to have Camilla crowned Queen. Lizzie gave in very recently.
Calling her Queen Consort is weasel words. The previous wives of Kings this century were never called Queens Consort, just Queens.

Should Camila be the Queen?
No, but she is. She married Prince Charles. What was she supposed to be if not Queen Consort? You can't have a sibling in power so Anne can't rule.
My mother thinks the late Queen only pretended to like Camilla, as she has manners, and called her Queen Consort upon the request of the Prince of Wales. We’ll never know. Elizabeth II disliked Camilla probably. Camilla’s great-grandmother slept with her great-grandfather! Is that normal? Even the Queen Mother didn't think Camilla was a suitable wife for Charles when neither was married. The Queen Mother was born in the Victorian era. As a child she lived in the Edwardian era. Prince Philip died at the age of 99,so draw conclusions from the context, pkease.

Why is Catherine, The Princess of Wales using Princess Diana’s former royal title, but Camilla, The Queen Consort didn’t?
Originally Answered: Why is Kate Middleton using Princess Diana's former royal title, but Camilla, Queen Consort, didn't?
Why is Kate Middleton using Princess Diana's former royal title, but Camilla, Queen Consort, didn't?
It’s not “Princess Diana’s former royal title”. It’s the courtesy title used by the wife of the Prince of Wales. Camilla didn’t use it as a bone thrown to the Diana Cultists and to allow her to make her own mark with a title NOT connected to the dead ex-wife. Diana was only allowed to keep it after the divorce because she would, in theory, someday be the mother of a King.
CATHERINE is using the title (she hasn’t been “Kate” or “Middleton” in more than 10 years, you know) because she is married to the Prince of Wales.
That’s how titles work. They don’t BELONG to anyone - they are USED by the current holder and his wife. When William becomes King, if he makes George Prince of Wales, George’s wife will be “HRH The Princess of Wales”. Because that’s how titles work!

Why are the British news channels calling Camilla the queen consort, Shouldn't it be just King Charles and Queen Camilla, are they adding the consort at the end to not hype her up and not annoy some people who still love Diana?
The media are also discussing arrangements for the late Queen.
It would be rather misleading to suggest that the King was going with the Queen
to Northern Ireland for example.
I would imagine that by the time of the coronation things may be different.

Why did Prince Charles marry Princess Diana?
Charles had a ,’stable’, of around 40 young girls who he could call upon to service his needs, one of these was the actress Susan George. Charles was very fond of Susan George but he could never marry her so he looked for something similar and when another leggy blonde was touted as marriage fodder, (Diana), he said ,’yes, that’s the one for me’.

Has the relationship between Princess Anne and Camilla warmed over time?
Anne is nothing if not pragmatic! She probably thought Diana a little vapid and immature to make real friends with, whereas Camilla is only theee years older and has many shared interests..not to mention that she is now Queen Consort, part of the slimmed- down Royal Family and they are going to be seeing a lot of one another.

If King Charles has a baby with Queen Camilla, will that child take precedence over William and Harry?
This absurd question betrays an astounding ignorance of history, monarchy and biology. A trifecta!
Now that HM King Charles III’s late first wife & mother to his children has been very effectively erased & largely forgotten by the people of the U.K. & Commonwealth, will HM Queen Camilla be known hereafter as mother to HRH William Prince of Wales?
This is an example of a stupid question. What makes you think Diana, Princess of Wales has been forgotten by the people of the UK? I don’t live in the UK and I haven’t forgotten her.
Prince William had a mother he loved very much. She will always be in his mind. Queen Camilla is Prince William’s step-mother and will remain so.
Will Camilla put her grimey dirty hands on Queen Elizabeth II's crowns and tiaras? What can we do to stop her?
You can grow up and lose your grudge. They have been happily married for 15, no 16years!
The royal jewels are held in trust by the monarch, His Majesty King Charles III. His wife, Her Majesty Queen Camilla will wear what she wants to look as she should as she represents the UK.
Other jewels may be gifted to her as she has been raised to to Queen Consort.
You may not like her but try to have some basic respect for her position and the stated wishes (and obvious respect for her) of Queen Elizabeth II.
Upon her death, will the funeral of the future queen, Camilla, be similar to the 2002 funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (wife of George VI), assuming that Camilla dies after becoming HM Queen Camilla?
Oh Orillia, please stop with these silly questions about Camilla, you seem obsessed by her.
I doubt very much that she will have a funeral anywhere near that of the Queen Mother, for one reason - she ISN’T the mother of a Monarch, nor grandmother to one.
Many people have not, and never will forgive her for the part she played in the failure of the marriage of Charles and Diana. Adultery is still frowned upon, and she is very lucky that she was allowed to marry Charles as a divorced woman. She has not served her time like the Queen Mother did, who won the hearts and minds of the people during WWII.
I cannot imagine for a moment that 200,000 people would queue up to view her casket in a Lying in State as they did for the Queen Mother.

Why could Charles not marry Camilla?
What changes will Prince Charles make to the royal family?

Charles & Camilla are said to have been in love since they first met in their youth. It’s well-known his 1st marriage wasn’t for love. Why did she marry Andrew Parker Bowles & stay married for 22 years if she was so deeply in love with Charles?
Camilla was not deemed suitable for Charles and being a bit older than him also was an issue. In those days they did not let just anyone marry royalty, so she took the best option she could.
Diana was a Lady and they felt she was more suitable, but there was no real love there.
In hind sight maybe the Queen sees that they should have let Charles marry for love, seeing as he is so happy with Camilla. She certainly suits him and makes him laugh.
Why was Prince Phillip not titled King Consort when apparently Camilla will be titled Queen Consort?
This question (or a question like this) has been answered dozens of times on Quora. I’ll do it again. A King’s wife is called a Queen. That’s why Camilla is a Queen. Queen Elizabeth II had no brothers so she was like a King. The English language has only one word for a King’s wife and a female King which is Queen. However a female King’s husband is not a King, he is a Prince consort.
One day she will be titled Her Majesty Queen Camilla. Is she already more beloved by a majority of the public than Diana ever was?
She is beloved, it was never a contest.
Why does it seem that no one is angry at Camilla for how she stole Prince Charles knowing that he was a married man? She didn’t give the marriage a chance to work.
The marriage of Charles and Diana should have never happened but it did. They only saw each other 13 times before the blow out wedding and wasn't comparable .So I have to put the blame for their marriage going bad on the shoulders of Charles and Diana. Neither was happy in what was nothing but a glorified arranged marriage .
Charles loved Camilla for years and Diana found this out over time. Diana admitted to affairs so that proves she isn't as innocent as some think she is.So Charles saw Camilla again once the marriage broke down and couldn't be fixed. So no Camilla did not steal Charles from Diana. It took two to destroy the royal marriage and that was years ago. Time to let the ill fated marriage of Charles and Diana go since neither party really won.
Why be angry when Charles and Camilla are happily married now ?If Diana had lived she might have found happiness herself . The new King and his Queen Consort live in the future and Diana deserves to rest in peace. As humans we all are not perfect and doesn't want our sins hung over our heads do we? Well, neither does Charles or Camilla and deserve to be happy .
Did Camilla Parker Bowles attend Charles and Diana's wedding?
Yes she attended with her husband and children. The Parker-Bowles family have always been in the same social circles as Royals.

When will people stop referring to Queen Camilla as "the Queen Consort" and begin to refer to her simply as "the Queen", which is how the three queens consort of the 20th century, Alexandra, Mary and Elizabeth were described?
I'd say by Christmas. Once the media start following the new King's preparation for his Christmas speech and the movements of the royal family around the feast day, I imagine we'll start to hear them referring to ‘the late Queen' and ‘the Queen' as opposed to ‘the Queen' and ‘the Queen Consort' to mean EIIR and Camilla respectively.

Why did Camilla Parker Bowles tell Prince William to "get a wig"?
If you are referring to the trash printed by the Globe, why on earth would you thing that anything found on a website named www(.)celebdirtylaundry(.)com was even remotely factual?
The story appeared The Globe gossip magazine in 2012 so your question is about 10 years out-of-date.
Will Prince William and Harry be required to bow to Camilla now that she is Queen Consort? Since she was the other woman in Charle’s and Diana’s marriage, wouldn’t that be a bit galling and hard on them?
Only on formal public occasions, for which they are fully trained. The members of the royal family don't bow and curtsey to each other every time they pass in a corridor. In any case, they seem to have made their peace with her.

Does Camilla get along with William?
She’s represented as being so lazy and so easy going that I should imagine that she gets along with everyone. My guess is that she shrugs everything off. That explains her ability to have an affair with a married man while his new young wife was hysterical with fear and pain. I don’t think that her conscience troubles her much, either.
The question should be - does William get along with Camilla?
In this case my guess is that he bears her a great deal of Ill-will (no pun intended) as he watched his mother descend into hours of sobbing and darkness because of Camilla. At the moment, he must hide his pain because he’s the next heir to the throne and Camilla, his step mother, will be queen.
I won’t be around to see it - but I’m wondering what will happen if Charles dies before Camilla and William then becomes the one holding the powerful strings.

Why does Camilla insist on being Queen? Shouldn't she have the sense to just be Princess consort given her history and damage to the British monarchy?
She hasn’t insisted on any such thing, in fact she was very clear from before her marriage to Charles that she would be happy with no formal title whatsoever.
It is the Queen and her constitutional advisors who have stated that when Charles is King, Camilla will be Queen whether she wishes or not. It is the legal position.

Why is Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, not given a princess title?
Women who marry into the royal family are not given titles of their own. They take the female forms of their husband’s titles, and this is what’s called a courtesy title. Camilla has the use of several princess titles.
TRH Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales
Her marriage to the Prince of Wales made her a Princess of the United Kingdom, but since she was born a commoner, she isn’t a Princess of the Blood Royal. Princesses Anne, Alexandra, Charlotte, Beatrice, and Eugenie hold both statuses.
When accompanied by Prince Charles, Camilla has the rank of a princess despite not being one in her own right.
Camilla is also HRH Princess Charles and HRH the Princess of Wales. She doesn’t use the latter title due to its recent association with the late Diana.

Every queen consort since Queen Adelaide has had a new Queen's crown made for her coronation. Will Queen Camilla follow this tradition?
Hard to say. Charles has a different view of what role Monarchy should play in Britain than any of his ancestors did, and has such has slimmed down Royal titles and expenditures. So she may chose to wear the Queen Mother’s Crown or another that flatters her looks, and forego the custom of having one made for her.

Why didn’t the late Prince Philip think Camilla Parker Bowles was a suitable wife for his eldest son, Prince Charles?
My understanding is that it was more the royal advisors who panned Camilla due to the fact that she had baggage-other suitors.
It seems to have taken Prince William coming of age and perhaps with his father’s support convincing the Firm that a) he rejects their skills at choosing spouses; b) with digital records there’s very little chance of a noblewoman coming into the royal family still married to a foreign despot who would try to take over the UK, or that she’s a spy, or that she has a secret son who would assassinate the true heir and try to take over. These were the reasons the royal firm has typically preferred a young virgin from a known family-less so the show of moral purity.
and c) virginity tests were unnecessary if she’s been with him; d) he expected to live with a prospective wife to ensure they were a fit before entangling her in a lifetime royal commitment.
This is one of the greatest accomplishments in modernizing the monarchy. William gave his future Queen a decade to be his listed plus one at official and family events, and to see how it worked from the inside. She didn’t run away screaming, so she was a keeper.

There are concerns regarding HM the Queen's health. Prince Charles and Camilla DoC are with her at Balmoral, Prince William is on his way to Scotland, but where is Prince Harry and Meghan the Duchess?
As far away as possible they dishonored the Royal Family, the UK and its institutions. My bet is its also why the fake book hasn't been published. How could any royal be branded a lier and be unable to defend his honour in a British Court. Why people would lie about matters of public record is beyond me. Also he was nearly thrown out of the army for racist behaviour.

Do Camilla and Catherine get along with each other?
Yes, very well.
It was the now Princess of Wales who photographed the now Queen to mark her birthday earlier this year. We have seen them sharing jokes and laughing in public and they appear to very much enjoy the company of each other. Remember, they are both women of non-royal blood. They both have lived non-royal lives along with the Countess of Wessex and all 3 get along very well together.

Why is Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex more disliked than Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall?
Because the mother of Meghan is an afro-american. Camilla was the mistress of Charles but her blood is 100% pure white blood. Lady Diana was dating with an arab before died, it was outrageous for some commoners and people from the media. She should be harassed according to them.

Was Camilla Parker Bowles a lover as well as a friend to Charles Prince of Wales during his marriage to Diana Princess of Wales?
That’s the official line. Camilla and Charles were involved during her marriage and his. They’ve been deeply in Love (capital L) since they met back in ‘73, but Charles went to do his navy service and broke off with Camilla. She went on to marry since the royal family did not approve of her romantic past liasons. Charles and Camilla were never allowed officially to be together.

Was Camilla married when Charles met her?
No she was not married, but she was in love with Andrew Parker Bowles and only had a short relationship with Prince Charles which emotionally affected him more than her. People talk of Charles being “forbidden” to marry Camilla, but the subject simply never came up because their romance was so brief and one-sided. She married very soon after her relationship with Prince Charles ended, so she clearly had no ambitions to marry the Prince of Wales. Like a lot of women in his circle of acquaintances, she couldn’t face the idea of all the publicity and restrictions of royal life, and she probably didn’t want her children growing up as royals.

When she’s queen, will Camilla feel awkward as the royal family’s matriarch (with Charles as patriarch) if her own children & grandchildren aren’t part of the royal family, not being seen with the family at, or even invited to, royal family events?
No why should she.
Camilla will be no different from any other royal consort.
When a person marries into the royal family their relatives do not become part of the royal family.
Did you ever see Prince Philip’s sisters taking part in British royal family events ?
The Spencer family only took part in her wedding to Charles and her funeral.
The Middletons only have minimal access to their grandchildren.

They would have doubtless resented the unwelcome publicity it attracted. Their parents were not acrimonious - and Andrew had plenty of affairs of his own - so they probably just accepted it. When your Godfather is Prince of Wales you are not going to be fazed by royalty. As a ‘blended family’ they seemed to get on well-enough - makes a change to see some smiles:

It is public relations. The three previous Queen Consorts were just called Queens in the press. Queen Consort was a technical term unknown to most people.
Camilla is called Queen Consort because there is the history of the previous wife, Diana.
As part of the quarter century campaign to make Camilla acceptable it was announced that she would be a Queen Consort as if that made any difference.

How did Diana find out about Camilla?
Charles’ relationship with Camilla pre-marriage was probably the worst-kept secret amongst his set of friends and larger set of acquaintances. One of his pre-Diana girlfriends, Anna Wallace, was reportedly informed of the “Camilla problem” while she was dating Charles. In fact, one evening when she was at a party with Charles, he spent the entire time talking to Camilla and ignoring her. The relationship ended shortly after that. Additionally, Diana’s sisters were very plugged in to that set—Jane was married to the Queen’s Assistant Private Secretary and Sarah was a former girlfriend of Charles. Either may have tipped her off as well.
Charles being painfully honest may have also told her himself, but if he did, likely also reassured her that he was giving her up. The well-publicized “bracelet incident” and Charles’ continued contact with her was likely heavily monitored by Diana, with predictable results.
Personally, I don’t think Charles ever gave up contact with her, which was a serious barrier to he and Diana developing the kind of relationship a married couple should develop. He may have ceased having a physical relationship with her, but his emotional attachment likely continued. This, coupled with Diana’s chaotic upbringing and neediness and Charles’ own neediness, pretty much made it impossible for them to be compatible and intimate as a couple. I also don’t buy into the “Charles should have married Camilla” dialogue either. She was mad for Andrew Parker Bowles and in fact her father placed an engagement announcement in the papers to force Andrew’s hand. But Andrew’s serial infidelity and lack of being home often made that relationship quite tenuous indeed and when the chance to reconnect with Charles came about, she did so. They reconnected over Lord Mountbatten’s murder.
Many people do not know that Charles had ANOTHER married mistress concurrent with Camilla. She was Dale, Lady Tryon, and he had been staying with the Tryons in Iceland when Lord Mountbatten was killed. In later years, Diana befriended Lady Tryon in an effort to enlist help with the “Camilla problem.” Camilla and Lady Tryon reportedly hated each other.

Will Camilla's children become nobles when Charles becomes king?
No, being a stepchild of royalty doesn’t get you anything. If Charles wanted to, he could grant them peerage titles after becoming king, but it’s doubtful he would want to or that they would want to.
Why were the tabloids always writing about Camilla having an "evil plot to seize the throne"? It seems like Camilla, unlike some others who "married in" to the royal family, never wanted fame or power.

Why did Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall reject the title of " Princess of Wales" when she married Prince Charles?
She did not regent it. What is a legal style of Camilla: HM The Queen or they changed it to HM The Queen Consort for the first time in history?
Camilla is being referred to as “Queen Consort” at the moment to distinguish her from the late Queen. When people talk about “the Queen”, we still tend to think of Queen Elizabeth. As time goes by, this will pass and Camilla will simply become “the Queen”.

Would the illegitimate son of Prince Charles and Camilla become a royal heir now that they are married?
I don't understand why anyone would think he could. If he allegedly was born of their intimacy, they gave him up for adoption.
And I don't believe he can now come in and say oh wait, I'm the new prince. He was adopted by another couple. And I know Queen Elizabeth being the shrewd business woman she was wouldn't allow him to be adopted by one of the household staff.

Why is Catherine, The Princess of Wales using Princess Diana’s former royal title, but Camilla, The Queen Consort didn’t?
King Charles and Queen Consort had a long term affair, even during his marriage to the late Diana. Being as both women came by the title through the same man, and Diana had already died, Camilla decided not to use it, as a sign of respect to her and perhaps her sons.…
Who decides if Camilla will be queen?
The law of the UK which lays down the succession and the titles. The moment HMQ draws her last breath, The Prince of Wales becomes King and his wife Queen Consort. No ifs buts or maybes!
Camilla is factually The Princess of Wales but elected not to use it because of people’s sensitivity about Diana having used that title recently. Diana was also Duchess of Cornwall by the way!
Diana was never Queen Consort so there’s no reason in the world to ask Parliament to change the law to give Camilla a completely unprecedented lesser title. By the way, doing that would also potentially affect other future Consorts - its just a waste of time to consider it!

King Charles and Camilla were lovers when they were teens.. there was a time period when Camilla was sent away (probably hiding her pregnancy) and gave the child up for adoption and listed different names on the birth certificate.. At the time “prince” Charles was sent to Australia for a year.. King Charles and Camilla were separated after the pregnancy due to pressure on both sides of the family.. Camilla and Charles had a son and he is nicknamed the Love Child.. His name is Simon and was adopted and raised in Australia
Why does Camilla still bear the name 'Parker Bowles'? She is officially divorced. Her maiden name is Shand.

If Diana, Princess of Wales was still alive, could she have stopped Camilla from taking her rightful spot as Queen Consort?
The RF only just managed to get the public to accept Camilla afterca 25 year OR campaign with Diana dead. Only two years ago they were still reassuring the public that Camilla would not be Wuern after purposely not using the title of Princess of Wales.
With Diana alive they would not have succeeded in convincing the public.

If Charles was King and Charles were to die before Camilla, what title would Camilla then have? Would she still be the dowager queen, since William is not her son? Or would she have any continuing title as a queen, since she is a step-mother?
She’s still be Queen. In practice we don’t use the words “Regnant”, “Consort” or “Dowager” except when we need to answer technical questions. She becomes Queen when her husband becomes King. What happens afterwards is irrelevant.
How does Camilla sign her name now?
‘Camilla R’ - as she was seen signing herself at the Accession Council.
This is the same format as the last consort, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother used.
