Prince Harry’s Visit to the UK and His Attempt to Meet King Charles III

Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom at the end of March 2023 for a brief visit. During his time in London, the Duke of Sussex reportedly tried to meet with his father, King Charles III. However, his request was swiftly turned down, as the new monarch claimed to be too busy.

On March 27, 2023, Prince Harry arrived in London to attend a four-day hearing for his confidentiality case against Associated Newspapers Ltd (the publisher of the Daily Mail). While the details of his visit were kept mostly private, it’s known that Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage. This surprised many, especially since King Charles III had reportedly planned to evict him from the property just a month earlier.

King Charles III’s Response to Prince Harry’s Request

During his time in the UK, Prince Harry hoped to spend some time with King Charles III. However, royal expert Alexander Larman shared that Harry’s request was politely declined. "Apparently, [Harry] tried to see King Charles, but King Charles said he was too busy," Larman revealed to Us Weekly on April 4, 2023. This brief exchange highlights the ongoing tension between father and son.

The Royal Family and the Coronation

Just two days after Prince Harry arrived, King Charles III traveled to Germany for his first official trip abroad as monarch. This came at a time when preparations for his upcoming coronation were well underway. As the royal family gears up for the event, questions remain about Prince Harry’s role and his relationship with his family, particularly with King Charles III.

While Prince Harry’s visit to the UK was short and his meeting with King Charles III didn’t happen, the tension between them continues to capture public attention.
