SSI Recipients Get No Payment in August 2026 — Here's When the Next Check Arrives
If you're an SSI recipient and wondering why you haven't seen a deposit in August 2026, don't panic. You haven't lost a payment. The calendar is simply working against you.
August 1, 2026 fell on a Saturday. The SSA doesn't issue deposits on weekends. When the first of the month falls on a weekend, benefits are paid on the preceding business day. SSI recipients received their August payment on Friday, July 31.
The next SSI deposit is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1.

- August 12 — Birthdays 1-10
- August 19 — Birthdays 11-20
