Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, were among celebrity guests to arrive at the wedding Duchess Meghan's close friend, designer Misha Nonoo, at Rome's Villa Aurelia, Friday, September 20.
Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump, along with husband Jared Kushner were among the first guests to arrive.
The wedding venue is a villa built in 1650 by Cardinal Giorlamo Farnese.
It sits on the Gianicolo Hill in the capital. The location has an American connection, as it was bought in 1881 by an American heiress Clara Heyland, who bequeathed it on her death to the American Academy in Rome, a research and arts institution. (Reuters)
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle jetted out of Rome on Saturday, newlywed Misha Nonoo sat down with Ivanka Trump, Karlie Kloss, Scooter Braun, Wendi Deng-Murdoch and both Kushner brothers for lunch a day after tying the knot with oil heir Mikey Hess.
They dined at Hotel de Russie where Nonoo and her new husband are staying along with his parents. The guests dined in the hotel's manicured courtyard, Jardin de Russie, beneath a canopy of umbrellas, seemingly nursing hangovers from the night before.
Misha stuck to a bridal white dress code, wearing an ivory shirt and yellow skirt.
Ivanka sported a $795 Zimmerman dress while Karlie, her supermodel sister-in-law whose wedding she skipped earlier this year, opted for a red outfit.
