Headlights accumulate so much dirt that the color of the plastic often ends up turning yellow or even brown. Cleaning them with window cleaner and a rag can remove surface dirt, but how do you actually clean plastic once the dirt has set in well over time? Some have suggested using bug spray, and it works!

The bug spray removes dirt deeply embedded in the headlights, on the other hand, be careful because it also deteriorates the plastic. The best way to do this is to spray bug spray on paper towel and clean your headlights as well. If you spray the spray directly on the headlights, you risk damaging them.
