Graphically it is quite different from what is being done at the moment, I find that good, it is a plus, I would not have said that I would like it at first glance but the animation looks good.
For the story, arguably Vi / Caitlyn's vendetta with Jinx. I will watch with pleasure, I think. Besides, it doesn't seem to be fan service on every floor (I haven't seen all the characters behind every door), at least in the BA.

Even without playing League of Legend, you'll have to watch a few episodes to see. Just for the graphics and the soundtrack it looks good, the story we'll see.

I play LoL from time to time but no longer classified. I have already looked at the personal Lore a bit and there is really a great job behind it. Hoping that they put the emphasis on the existing Lore to keep it consistent over time.

Yes the episodes are nice. For once we have an adaptation of Video Games> Cinema rather successful, Chapeau!
The Artistic Direction is magnificent and original, it changes from ultra classic DA c / c to the chain of Dota / Blood of zeus / Castelvania etc.
And the Soundtrack is also very heavy if you like the style.

Level scenario I think that knowing LOL plays a lot on the notes and the criticisms (each scene one wonders who can well be such or such character)

DA is crazy.
The script is A + tier.
The themes are rather adult.
The CRS are very mean. (we recognize the French studio)
When I read that the script is boatload and that the outcome seems obvious, I do not really see what we are talking about. I don't know where we're going. To the fight surely, but ....

I have never seen crises of crying / hysterics so well rendered.

All the same but better! This animated literally stunned me, a nugget. I can't wait to see what happens next and challenge anyone to predict the outcome.

For above, we wonder in each scene who is who because we know LoL. For those who do not know, the realization is so well done that they will simply discover the characters with the anime without asking any questions (like any fiction).

Special mention for the emotional distress scene.

Personally, I really liked the first 3 episodes. Between the AD, the animations, the rendering of the emotions of the characters or the soundtrack, I cannot say which is the best, just that they are all excellent!

I watched this with some friends who don't know League at all and they are just as excited as I am for the next few episodes so I don't feel like playing the game is a prerequisite to enjoying the show.

Personally, I knew absolutely nothing about LoL, and I found these first 3 episodes absolutely brilliant. I haven't seen the time passed, and technically it's clearly heavy.

Side story there are indeed a lot of characters to swallow at the beginning, but we quickly understand that everything will intersect at some point to end in a mess. In the end, everything is skillfully conducted, both what will become the common thread of the story, as the direct clashes between factions and main characters.

I hadn't enjoyed a series so much in a long time.

I agree. This series is magnificent and I am particularly a fan of the steampunk art direction with very colorful visuals but a very dark atmosphere. The universe is just fascinating, whether it's Piltover or the Underground, in terms of architecture, technology, fashion, it's flawless for now.

Animation level, we also take full eyes of it and personally, I had never seen a rendering of such quality in scenes of animation. I was really on my ass most of the time, whether it was seeing the chase scenes or the characters' expressions.

Having not played LoL for over an hour, I have absolutely no idea how the game relates to the series, but that didn't stop me from finding the characters very endearing and the story engaging. I also found the pace of these first three episodes to be very well balanced. To be confirmed in the next episodes but it starts very strongly.

Noise level, we are also spoiled. Although I'm not a fan of the opening credits, the rest is perfect, both in terms of the music and the voice of the characters. Special mentions to the voices of Vander or Commander Grayson cited above.

In short, for now, what I remember is that both technically and artistically it is a pure treat, and that in terms of story and characters, it starts very strong. To be confirmed but it clearly promises to be one of the best, if not the best series of this year.

So I don't know anything about LoL ...

And yet this series starts off really well in terms of the story and the good writing of the characters.

The graphic style is good and gives a touch of originality in this world where all styles are standardized.

The colors are exceptional, the animation really stunning, the faces, eyes and hair look really good.

So it feels good to see a little originality in the world of animation (after a while the Pixar / Disney style, how are you ...)!

Now that you say it, we can see him a little physical resemblance too.

Completely packed by the thing, cinematographically, it is successful, animation, it is successful, atmosphere and scenario, it is successful.

Not a lot of fanservice, it stays in the logic of the story compared to the fluff. They manage to piss off.

Damn I fell in love with the series when I started with a small condescending smile on my lips at the opening.
Visually, it's simply sumptuous, I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful animation, it's a real call to enchantment and wonder. In addition to that the story of these 3 episodes is rather touching and especially the villain is quite nuanced and is a great success as an imperturbable and sentimental revolutionary (the relationship between enemy brothers and Vander is very successful).
I am in heaven, strongly the continuation.

And the establishment of the relationship Vi - Jinx, the nickname, the explanation of his demented character in the lore of the game, the eyes that see, it is simply amazing!
The establishment of the Silko / Jinx-Powder relationship which sees in her what has gone through her, the way in which the other characters are brought (Singed, Viktor, ...), and the winks (twitch, warwick ), it's just great!

The series speaks to LoL neophytes, but also to those in the know.

I finally had time to watch, mamamamama is a bomb, the animation is crazy, they set the bar high I forgot that I was watching a "cartoon" after 10min.
