Technology /#Drone #IA #Artificial Intelligence : How This Tesla Was Hacked By A Drone In Minutes! Demonstration.

Hacking cars from the sky might sound like something out of a sci-fi movie like Fast & Furious , but researchers have shown how close this technique is to reality.

They managed to open the doors of a Tesla thanks to a remote hack performed by a drone equipped with a Wi-Fi dongle.

With the bugs fixed in October of last year, the hack should not be possible. today, according to researchers. But benevolent hackers - Ralf-Philipp Weinmann, CEO of Kunnamon, and Benedikt Schmotzle of Comsecuris - presented their exploits at the CanSecWest conference, noting that they did not require any interaction from anyone in the car.

This would have made hacking particularly useful for would-be thieves.

Watch their hack drone, using a DJI Mavic 2 and Tesla Model X, in action from 36 minutes into their tech briefing.

They could have used the loopholes to "compromise parked cars and control their infotainment systems over WiFi," they wrote in an article promoting their so-called TBONE hack. “It would be possible for an attacker to unlock the doors and the trunk, change the position of the seats, the steering and acceleration modes - in short, just about anything a driver can do who presses various buttons on the car. console. This attack does not, however, make it possible to take control of the car ”.

Tesla had not responded to a request for comment at the time of posting.

Their attacks targeted a component called ConnMan, accessible over Wi-Fi and used to manage network connections. Two flaws in ConnMan allowed Ralf-Philipp Weinmann and Benedikt Schmotzle to execute commands on the Tesla's infotainment system.

They could have done worse by writing code in Tesla's infotainment technology. Ralf-Philipp Weinmann warned that the attack could have been "militarized" by adding an exploit that would have allowed them to create entirely new Wi-Fi firmware in the Tesla, "turning it into an access point that could be used to operate other Tesla cars that are near the victim car ”.

The vulnerable ConnMan component is also used by other cars, according to Ralf-Philipp Weinmann. “I think that's about half the industry,” Ralf-Philipp Weinmann told Forbes .

He described a long process of disclosing the problem. Ralf-Philipp Weinmann and Benedikt Schmotzle first approached Intel, which was the original creator of ConnMan, but then had to approach the German IT Emergency Response Team, which organized fixes for ConnMan issues.

However, it is not certain that all automakers have updated their cars to include the corrected code.

This is not the first time that Tesla has been the target of hacks by cybersecurity researchers. In 2020, security experts at McAfee showcased feats that allowed Tesla's autonomous driving feature to drive the car up to 85 km / h in a 35 km / h zone.

That same year, academics from KU Leuven University's Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography (COSIC ) hacked and stole a Tesla in two minutes by targeting Bluetooth issues, and using hardware worth $ 200.

Tesla rewards hackers for their work in pointing out issues so that they can be fixed through its referral program. According to Ralf-Philipp Weinmann, the duo received $ 31,500 from electric car giant Elon Musk for their findings.

Tesla cannot be compared with other car manufacturers. Yet Tesla has a much higher valuation. has a much higher valuation. has a much higher valuation. has a much higher valuation. has a much higher valuation. has a much higher valuation. a une valorisation bien supérieure.

The reason for this valuation is that Tesla is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. is not an industrial business model like most manufacturers but a scalable digital business model. n’est pas un modèle d'entreprise industrielle comme la plupart des constructeurs mais un modèle d’entreprise numérique scalable.

To put it simply, in an industrial model, the value of your business depends on the number of vehicles you manufacture and sell each year.

In the case of a scalable company, the main value of your company is not created by your production capacity but by your users.

In other words, much of Tesla's value is created by Tesla users who, while driving, generate navigation data.Tesla which, while driving, generates navigation data. which, while driving, generate navigation data.Tesla which, while driving, generates navigation data.Tesla which, while driving, generate navigation data. which, while driving, generate navigation data. qui, en conduisant, génèrent des données de navigation.

The principle of "machine learning" is based on data collection. The more data you have, the more you improve the algorithm (and therefore the range of vehicles for example).

This is why we cannot compare Tesla with BMW or Ford but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and delivery people. with BMW or Ford, but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and deliverers. with BMW or Ford, but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and deliverers. with BMW or Ford, but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and deliverers. with BMW or Ford, but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and deliverers. with BMW or Ford, but rather with Uber, which collects and uses the data provided by all its drivers and deliverers. avec BMW ou Ford mais plutôt avec Uber qui collecte et utilise les données fournies par tous ses chauffeurs et livreurs.

The firm Tesla does not take the value only when it sells a vehicle but also each time a user of Tesla is a journey. You're here made a trip.Tesla is making a ride. made a trip.Tesla made a trip. made a trip. fait un trajet.

In the short term, Tesla is gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase its number of active users. gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase the number of active users. gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase the number of active users. gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase the number of active users. gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase the number of active users. gradually lowering its prices to make its vehicles more affordable and thus to increase the number of active users. baisse progressivement ses prix pour rendre ses véhicules plus abordables et ainsi pour augmenter son nombre d’utilisateurs actifs.

In the long term, improving the range of Tesla vehicles will probably (it is hypothetical) allow the creation of an on-demand vehicle service (a bit like Uber except that there will be no driver). For example, you could pay a monthly subscription and whenever you need to move around you could open an app, select an end point and a departure point, and then a Tesla will pick you up and transport you. You're here will pick you up and transport you.Tesla will pick you up and transport you. will pick you up and transport you.Tesla will pick you up and transport you. will pick you up and transport you. viendra vous chercher et vous transporter.

A model like this would herald the end of the industrial model of car production as we know it today.

In a few decades, the value of a vehicle brand will no longer depend at all on the number of vehicles sold but on the uptime of its vehicles. Most brands currently manufacture vehicles intended to spend most of their existence in a parking space. With this new model, the world would need significantly fewer vehicles (since one vehicle could serve multiple people per day) and significantly reduce vehicle idle time.

The Cybertruck window shattered for several reasons. First of all, Franz threw the ball too hard. He was very confident and it actually broke. Elon looked very pissed off at him. Second, the tests performed on the glass before surely weakened it, causing it to glow on stage. Finally, Franz may have dislodged the glass just before, when he knocked with a sledgehammer on the Cybertruck door. It could be one of these reasons, or a combination of them.

However, as Elon pointed out, the metal ball did not pass through the glass. She only broke it. If the ball had been thrown at an F150, the glass would have instantly shattered, and it would have passed through, risking injury to a person inside. But the most embarrassing moment was when Elon confidently asked Franz to throw it again, this time on the back window, and it also broke. It was a big disappointment and Elon had to stand in front of a damaged pickup until the end of the presentation.

The glass breaks:

Elon confirms that the glass has been tested:

Reecepbcups : Last night, did you plan to throw the ball on the glass? Or was it decided at the time

Elon Musk: We threw the same steel ball at the same glass several times just before the event and we didn't even scratch it!

The use of stainless steel is evident in the field of commercial vehicles. So nobody had thought of it?

Angular lines please or displease. They do not leave you indifferent. What is certain is that once past the astonishment, a simple box is never ugly. So I guess the CyberTruck will be nice once we see it driving around.

I already find it incredibly attractive. Why is the CyberTruck so angular? Because no press can round such solid steel. The only possible treatment is to bend it. Hence the angular aspect of the CyberTruck.

I think it will be an unprecedented success, I just wonder why Tesla did not present a slightly more "finished" version of the machine: a simple logo on the rear clapper , and TESLA spelled out in huge letters on the grille, I think it would have looked much nicer!TESLA spelled out huge on the grille, I think it would have looked a lot nicer! spelled out huge on the grille, I think it would have looked a lot nicer!TESLA spelled out huge on the grille, I think it would have looked a lot nicer! spelled out huge on the grille, I think it would have looked a lot nicer! écrit en toutes lettres énorme sur la calandre, je pense qu’il aurait paru beaucoup plus beau !603  viewsShow 5  positive votes · Reply requested by Alexandre bichot5

All you have to do is open a securities account and place a stock market order. Of course, online brokers (Bourse Direct, Binck, Saxo Banq, etc.) offer particularly competitive prices.

You should know that it is recommended not to invest in a single company, and you have to diversify your investments.

We can either:

  • Buy or even several shares (I would say at least twenty, even if there is debate on this)
  • Buy an equity fund hoping that the manager makes a good selection
  • Invest in an ETF (Exchange Traded Funds), which will be very diversified and will generally have an excellent performance

I recently made a video that explains the interest of ETFs

The alternator-transformer system, a major turning point

There is, however, a decisive novelty, but it lies above all in the demonstration of the possibility of an industrial alternating current transmission and distribution system for a large number of users.

The Gaulard-Gibbs system comprises a main alternator delivering an alternating voltage of 2000 or 3000 volts which "secondary generators" lower to the various voltages - from around fifty to a hundred volts - required by users.

Inaugurated for the lighting of the London Underground in 1883, the Gaulard-Gibbs system publicly demonstrates its performance at the Turin Exhibition of 1884.

The high voltage is transmitted there over 40 km and the transformers supply the appropriate voltages to a hundred lamps as well as to a motor.

Find investors who are willing to lose millions of dollars each year, with a few quarters barely making a profit.

Aurelien Bey· July 2, 2017  Developer engineer ( 2012 - today )Original answer: In your opinion, why do geniuses (like: Tesla, Albert Einstein, Vinci) claim to have had the help of an intelligence superior to theirs?

To respond to the question

You can take a look at this very interesting expression:

Dwarves on the shoulders of giants - Wikipedia

It illustrates how, in science, a conclusion is only the result of a sum of contributions throughout history. Each (dwarf) brings his stone to the edifice built by his predecessors (giants).

Higher intelligence would then be that which emerges from the work of the ancients.

My remark

Do you have the exact quotes to back up the claim that these people invoked a “higher intelligence”? With the quotes, the context (book, interview,…) and the dates, not a quote from an obscure creative website please. The expression is ambiguous and deserves some details.

For Tesla and De Vinci, why not, although…. But Einstein? I allow myself to doubt. I'm not claiming he never said anything like that, I'm not claiming to know all of his wits.

I'm just asking for proof. A quick search on the Net did not give me a satisfactory answer (in my defense and for yours, it is not an easy search). And the poor man serves as a justification for all the theories, sometimes even the most crappy ones, which made him say everything and its opposite, in particular on the subject of intelligence. et De Vinci, pourquoi pas, encore que ….

Argument from authority - Wikipedia

Suddenly, I chose to consider all the quotes attributed to Einstein as being false, until rigorous proof to the contrary. And so far it has worked out pretty well for me, the truth of the matter is often (not always) on the side of doubt.

In order not to smear the memory of these great gentlemen, it would be fashionable to quote them rigorously, when invoked. The exercise is strenuous and not always easy, but necessary when there is any doubt. Thanks for them.

And in advance, thank you for lighting my lantern. Again I am not claiming that the statement in the question is wrong (it is a good question that can / should be detailed), I just want help to know why it is true. I just want to learn.

PS

If by intelligence we speak of God (or Allah, Yahweh,…): “God does not play dice” and “Do not tell God what to do” could be satisfactory answers. But that doesn't really matter. These spikes are not to be taken literally. They do not show Prof. Einstein's interest in the divine, it is simply a question of sensible responses to mock the position of his contemporaries in favor of a certain interpretation of quantum theory.3.9k  viewsShow 28  positive votes283

In fact, the answer is quite funny.

Beautiful cars within the reach of all budgets, whose autonomy is a little less ridiculous than competing cars, and given the almost non-existent network of recharging stations, good luck.

This brand is not exempt from the risk of bankruptcy, and you may end up with a beautiful luxury item on your hands. You will have the solution to transform it into a henhouse, like the carcasses of cars devoted to this use that we saw in farmyards until the sixties.638  viewsShow 10  positive votes · Reply requested by

But having struggled with a Tesla model S, too wide and too long with us, I don't want anything worse. I also sold my Model S to acquire a Model 3, much easier to park, and also compatible with our road widths. But this vehicle should be a hit in the USA, because it is this category that is the biggest seller there!(more)

The race for electric cars is already very strong among a dozen manufacturers, the majority located in China. Ford, General Motors, Nissan, Porsche, BMW, and Mitsubishi as well as several Chinese car manufacturers are already selling electric cars around the world excluding the USA and America. Chinese manufacturers are the largest manufacturers in the world for all ranges of electric vehicles including buses where they largely dominate this electric transport industry.

Volkswagen along with other manufacturers are already building a network of charging stations in strategic locations around the world. Their goal is to exceed the 8% mark by 2025.

The race is more than beginning and all the manufacturers in the world are in competition or in association with manufacturers of electric motors and batteries.

Why did Bill Gates decide to purchase a Porsche Taycan instead of a Tesla ?????

Bill Gates loves Porsches and the Taycan is an impressive car with great features.

Autonomy of 450 km (against 595 km for the Model S).

0 to 100 km / h in 2.6 seconds (slower than a Model S P100D, but the Taycan seems to do better over 400m).

Elle se comporte mieux qu'une Model S, beaucoup mieux.

The new Model S Plaid will, however, perform better on the track, but it is not yet available.

The Taycan also looks nicer, some would say it's a matter of taste but to be honest the gap is so big I think it's an objective fact. The Taycan is magnificent and for a Porsche enthusiast it is doubly so.

Gates misses out on the Supercharger network, which is a huge downside. But he probably realized that he has charging stations near his home and on his possible journeys.

In short, the Taycan has enough range for most people, is much better on a track than a Model S, and offers superior aesthetics, inside and out. It's a great buy.

Besides, being a big Tesla fan , I wouldn't buy anything other than a Tesla . But I can fully understand why he bought a Taycan. You're here. But I can fully understand why he bought a Taycan.Tesla. What is stopping China from copying Tesla electric cars and selling them at a lower price? and sell them at a lower price? and sell them at a lower price? and sell them at a lower price? et de les vendre à un prix inférieur ?

Half of the world's sales of electric cars are in China. The Tesla Factory is not funded by Tesla , it was funded by China and leased to Tesla because Tesla has run out of money and is still on the verge of bankruptcy, so if Tesla disappears, China will lease to a company. many Chinese brands such as NIO, BYD, BAIC, SAIC.You're herehas no money anymore and is still on the verge of bankruptcy, so if Tesla disappears, China will lease from one of the many Chinese brands such as NIO, BYD, BAIC, SAIC.has no money anymore and is still on the verge of bankruptcy, so if Tesla disappears, China will lease from one of the many Chinese brands such as NIO, BYD, BAIC, SAIC. car TeslaTesla disappears, China will rent from one of the many Chinese brands such as NIO, BYD, BAIC, SAIC. n'a plus les sous et est toujours au bord de la faillite, ainsi si disparait, la Chine va louer à une des nombreuses marques chinoises tel NIO, BYD , BAIC,SAIC.

But China is already thinking about the other phase, it is starting the electrics with Hydrogen because it realizes that the electric car does not significantly improve the balance sheet. As you know China also produces by far the most solar panels, when production will finally be sufficient to meet basic needs and surpluses must be stored, this will be done by manufacturing hydrogen. The goal is to have one million cars by 2030, Probably the production of the trucks will be accomplished before because it is more profitable to have trucks rather than small hydrogen cars.

China's 2025 goal is no longer to make cheap little buggers but high-tech much more profitable. and electric cars and trucks and trains, either battery-powered or hydrogen, are a big part of this technological showcase.

In our world, Tesla is well regarded even though still on the verge of bankruptcy, never had a positive year and had to borrow billions more last year. It is the fact of having the same fixed / variable costs (or more or less the same) whether you sell 1 product or 100,000. You can imagine that successful scalable businesses make a lot, a lot of money.

And precisely, this is not at all the case with Tesla which is a good old car manufacturer business. which is a good ol 'car manufacturer business. which is a good ol 'car manufacturer business. which is a good ol 'car manufacturer business. qui est un bon vieux business de constructeur auto.

To produce a car, you need production lines, the more you want to produce, the more lines you need, the more raw material you have to stock up on. Costs increase as production capacity increases.

So, yes, some have probably made a lot of money with Tesla . This is called a nice speculative bubble. I prefer to stay away from these bubbles.. This is called a nice speculative bubble. The picture is not me - and it's a steeper hill, but you get the idea.

When I drove a car with a combustion engine it was always a problem with restarting - I would burn out the clutch, sometimes back up towards the car behind me. Sometimes I stalled.

The car made a lot of noise and there was heavy wear on the engine, transmission, clutch and me!

In the Tesla , I can stand still on the hill, or roll forward or backward, just by selecting the correct pedal position on the accelerator.

Nikola Tesla worked with government scientists on a project called The Philadephia Experiment. The Eldridge was an escort destroyer that was fitted with several hundred feet of sturdy copper wire. The theory was to create an electromagnetic field around the ship. The original plan was to make the ship invisible. The first experiment worked and the ship disappeared. The second test had unintended consequences. The ship has disappeared but has also traveled in time and space according to Al Beilek, and his half-brother Duncan. He returned to his old present and began to talk about his experiences., bien que tous les détails de l'expérience aient été hautement confidentiels et gardés secrets, pendant de nombreuses années. I think Elon Musk just doesn't want Tesla to become like Apple in the long run. devienne comme Apple sur le long terme.

Apple is the quintessential "super profitable" company. It's a company that sells products that are expensive for a large number of people and has a brand that is strong enough that they don't have to match market prices.

On the contrary, tesla started by marketing high-end vehicles but wants to make tesla an affordable car brand for the general public and therefore to match the prices of the mid-range car market. an affordable car brand for the general public and therefore align with the prices of the mid-range car market.

His approach to theoretical physics was deeply rooted in the ideas of the early 19th century.

He was not only against general and special relativity, he was also completely opposed to any idea of equivalence between energy and matter, to Quantum Theory and to the existence of fundamental particles.

Probably at least in part because these new concepts invalidated some of his own theories.

He also claimed, for example, that electrons and sub-atomic particles do not exist.

Some people try to demonstrate a parallel between his version of the theory of " Etherluminiferous "and Quantum Field Theory (QFT), when they have absolutely nothing in common.

Tesla proposed that electricity was carried by an " proposed that the electricity was transported by an " proposed that the electricity was transported by an " Etherluminiferous ", which he supposed to be a gas composed of tangible matter but so rarefied that it would be undetectable, in which the entire universe would donut.

But this idea had already been definitively refuted in 1887 by the experiment of Michelson and Morley., who on the contrary initiated a line of research leading to the Theory of Special Relativity.

Several versions of conspiratorial theories have arisen about Nikola Tesla on the internet for less than 10 years, but this was not the case at all before. on the internet for less than 10 years, but that was not the case at all before. on the internet for less than 10 years, but that was not the case at all before.

Is it a good time to buy Tesla shares now? now ? now ?

Kevin Pottier·November 8, 2020 Kuailian

Is this the right time to buy some?

First, we look at the share price of the company to buy it.

Second, we look at what society offers, if it is a vital need, if the world population really needs it.

Knowing that in late March - early April, this action cost less than $ 100.

To be more precise we could see it, this year at a price of 65.49 USD.

So as you can see if you had bought shares in this period you could have grown your capital in less than a year.

I come back to your question, which is whether we still have to buy some.

The price is quite high. For my part, I think it is too late now.

But Tesla is not immune from financial losses, from any problems, which could lead to a decline in the company's shares, for example. is not immune from financial losses, from any problems, which could lead to a fall in the company's shares, for example. is not immune from financial losses, from any problems, which could lead to a fall in the company's shares, for example.

I hope I answered your question as well as possible :)

The Model X pocket doors look cool the first dozen or so times, but get old quickly when you realize that they take longer to open than a standard door and the offsets are just a sham.

Have driven hundreds of vehicles for all over the world

This answer may not be an accurate translation of Bill Hooghuis' answer in Quora in English  :Is Tesla really a low-quality car? really a low-quality car?

I have owned and driven tons of cars at all levels. The one that was probably of the highest "quality" and that I hated the most was a 2017 Toyota Prius Advanced Prime Plug-In. The one I liked most before the Tesla was a Mercedes S550. It was also the lowest quality car I have ever owned. Of course, it was perfect when I bought it and it remained that way until the warranty expired. After that, it seemed to me that walking past the concession was like playing Monopoly, except you had to pay $ 1,000-10,000 to get out of jail each time. This car cost me 10 to 20 THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS per year in maintenance! So, yes, I would give it a very low quality rating.2017, so far, required a $ 60 cabin air filter. So what do you think of the quality? The Prius, full service every 3 months, with a 2 hour wait in the showroom, two software updates with a 4 hour wait in the same hall, and 6 flat tires! Or the Teslawith a $ 60 air filter installed by a technician who came to my house to do it? By the way, I'm a pretty wary engineer. I measured the gaps on my dashboard with a set of digital calipers. They were just as good as the Mercedes. The painting. Yes, it's not as pretty as the Mercedes but I bet it won't do what you see on old Acura (a very high "quality" car) either. And after a month of driving in the real world, unless you put a ceramic coating on your paint (which I did), the difference between the paint on the Benz and that on the Tesla will be barely noticeable.with a $ 60 air filter installed by a technician who came to my house to do it? The Cybertruck that was presented is not. However, there won't be much to change other than:

  • Windscreen wipers (absent);
  • Side mirrors (absent, but which could be replaced by cameras, which is authorized in Europe);
  • The steering wheel (which must be circular if it can be turned more than 180 degrees in each direction).

The height of the bumpers does not seem problematic (See the silhouette of the Ford F-150 superimposed). Ditto for the windows and their coloring, which probably already follow the American standard FMVSS.

The choice of material used for the Cybertruck, 30X stainless steel, has been questioned by automotive safety experts, but is not per se prohibited. Historically, Tesla gets very good crash test scores for all of its models. for all its models.

Those who believe the Cybertruck will never be produced base their analysis on the past performance of Tesla's competitors . But Tesla is not playing in the same court. They don't have the financial leisure to test the market and promote the company at various auto shows. If there are any changes, they will be minor, in my opinion.do not play in the same court. In the wake of Jean-François Denis' very complete argument, I have long wondered how the authorities can thus frantically promote the electric vehicle. The lobby of power generation companies?

The electric vehicle is only clean at the end, while it is in use by its driver. Before that, everything is worse (see the aforementioned argument). Also, where does the electricity needed for the car come from? If we forgive (and encourage) natural energies (currently largely in the minority), only gas-fired power stations are cleaner, to my knowledge. Otherwise, do you prefer coal or nuclear energy, the waste of which takes an incredible time to no longer be harmful. Not to mention the current dangers (Chernobyl, Fukushima, etc…).

The electric vehicle will only become acceptable when all the electricity is produced by natural means (wind, hydroelectric, etc.). And on the condition of hoping that the technology, always in progress, will have in the meantime solved all the other problems cited by JF Denis, and in particular the question of batteries.
