Weight Loss: Foods That Quickly Burn Belly Fat

Body and well-being

These foods that burn belly fat are a great addition to your diet or weight loss program and are so important when you also try to exercise to lose weight.

Indeed, when we talk about burning belly fat and building muscles, the abdominals represent about 80% of diet and 20% of training.

Have you heard this before? It's 100% true. You can crackle all day, but if you don't eat the right foods, the abs in a pack of six will remain out of your reach forever!

The abs are made in the kitchen.

If you want abs and want to keep them, the most important factor is to have a balanced diet.

In addition to a diet rich in fat-burning foods above, it is also important to eliminate sweet and processed foods.

The harmful ingredients and toxins in these foods will lead to weight gain and a host of other problems.

The foods to burn belly fat below are amazing sources of healthy fats, protein and carbohydrates.

Oat

Oats are one of the healthy carbohydrates that can really help you burn fat!

Whole oats such as rolled oats or steel cut oats (NOT fast processed oats) contain healthy fiber and carbohydrates for long and sustained energy throughout the day.

A diet rich in whole grains and dietary fiber reduces the risk of high blood pressure and heart attack.

They also help reduce cholesterol.

Eat oats with whole fruits in the morning and you will be full until lunch!

Do not add sugar, but add nuts, chia seeds, cinnamon and/or protein powder. Try soaking them in unsweetened milk (such as cashew nuts, coconut or almond) overnight in a Mason jar.

Whole eggs

I'm sure you've heard the advice to eat egg whites while you're trying to lose weight or get in shape. Well, forget this advice. Forever.

It was once believed that dietary cholesterol was the culprit for high blood cholesterol levels due to scientific studies poorly conducted in the past.

We now know that it is saturated fats and trans fats that are the culprits.

The eggs were then victimized by the media and the natural food industry, and they are still fighting this stigma today.

Several recent studies have shown that eggs increase good cholesterol, reduce bad cholesterol and contain a plethora of essential nutrients for the body.

They are an excellent source of protein and contain large amounts of biotin, which improves the skin, hair, nails and eyes. Cook them in a frying pan with coconut oil and a fresh avocado for an incredibly healthy breakfast.

Try to buy livestock products when possible, as they have been proven to contain more omega-3.

Cayenne peppers

Cayenne peppers specifically contain a substance called capsaicin that gives them a very warm taste.

This causes thermogenesis, which is a process that occurs when the body is cold and burns fat to return to a warmer temperature.

This happens when capsaicin binds to heat receptors when these peppers are consumed. That's why you always hear about Cayenne as a "fat burner".

It has also been shown that the consumption of peppers and spicy foods increases metabolism and helps reduce appetite. So it's really win-win here!

Avocado

Misguided advice has led people to believe that they should avoid avocado when they try to lose fat because they are so high in fat. It's simply not true.

Although it is not a good idea to eat too much every day, healthy fats are always essential to a healthy and balanced diet and can absolutely help you LOSE fat.

Avocados provide healthy fats, fiber and folic acid that, combined, allow you to stay full longer. It also helps to prevent people from overeating.

Almonds

Almonds are another source of healthy fat on the list.

Taking almonds rather than crackers and other refined carbohydrates during snacks can help reduce belly fat and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

They have been shown to reduce bad cholesterol, help the brain, prevent heart attacks and strengthen bones and teeth.

Opt for unsalted whole almonds when possible.

Lemons

More specifically, lemon juice to detoxify the body. When you rid the body of toxins, you pave the way for easier weight loss and a reduction in belly fat.

Having a clean and healthy digestive system will ensure that your body receives all the necessary nutrients from the food you consume.

Try a glass of warm water with 1/2 lemon juice when you wake up in the morning and before going to bed in the evening.

Lean meats

Lean meats such as chicken, beef and salmon provide healthy sources of protein and a variety of other nutrients.

The best options for lean meats are wild Alaskan salmon, organic chicken and grass-fed beef.

Salmon is an excellent choice because it also contains additional healthy fats (omega 3) that we could all use more in our diet!

Add lean meat to your salad or cook it with vegetables and whole grains for a balanced dinner.

Dark green leaves

At the risk of repeating what everyone says all the time...

Dark leafy vegetables are AMAZING for your health. They contain antioxidant nutrients, anti-cancer nutrients and anti-inflammatory nutrients.

They are high in fiber and low in calories.

Try to squeeze them, mix them, eat them raw and cook them. Just find a way to get as much as possible in your diet!

Quinoa

Quinoa contains all the essential amino acids to make it a complete protein.

This is something new in the cereal community, and although quinoa is not technically a cereal, it closely reflects the consistency and cooking process of rice.

It also contains antioxidants, is an excellent source of healthy carbohydrates and is gluten-free.

Replace it with bread, rice or other cereals, or try it mixed with oatmeal in the morning!

Apples

Apples are one of the healthiest fruits on the planet, containing antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and even pectin (which reduces hunger).

Apples are excellent "snacks", because they are very satiating and will help you fill up while bringing you a little boost of energy.

Try them for breakfast, as an afternoon snack, on salads or even cooked with onions as an accompaniment!
