According to this theory, you could take the inside of a tomato mixed with toothpaste and apply it under your eyes to remove dark circles. Aside from the obvious risk of splashing toothpaste in my eyes and irritating them, does it actually work in removing dark circles?

As you might expect, the answer is no. Placing substances near your eyes that are not supposed to be there is generally a bad idea and should be avoided. You could end up with a problem much worse than dark circles.
