What: Chanel’s Spring Summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection by creative director Matthieu Blazy.

How: A theatrical presentation featuring reimagined tweeds, low-slung skirts, cropped jackets and archival references under a flock of oversized seagull sculptures.

The Star-Studded Chanel SS27 Front Row

Nicole Kidman arrived with her youngest daughter Faith Urban in coordinated charcoal tones. Dua Lipa chose a dramatic feathered and embroidered dress in red and pink tones from the Cruise collection. Pedro Pascal wore a classic Chanel tweed overcoat over a turtleneck. Ayo Edebiri and Alexa Demie sat together, Edebiri in a check jacket over a mini dress and Demie in a shiny quilted red mini skirt suit.

Longtime house ambassador Marion Cotillard sat near Olivia Wilde. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kristen Wiig, Sandra Hüller and John Malkovich (making his Chanel front-row debut) added further star power. Model Paloma Elsesser, JT, Lori Harvey, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Chinese star Wang Yibo completed a truly global front row. About the Collection

Creative director Matthieu Blazy described the show as “a show about the histories of Chanel.” Signature tweeds received a Noughties-inspired update with low-slung skirts, cropped jackets and bare midriffs. Accessories included pearl drop earrings, long bead strands, shells, low-slung belts and quilted chain-strap bags.
